Residential conveyancing – range of costs

Our Regulator, the Council for Licensed Conveyancers (the CLC), requires all firms to publish transparent pricing in certain areas of law in which we deliver legal services.

Residential property transactions can be difficult to price accurately as not all transactions are the same.  In addition, it is often the case that a matter arises during the transaction which might not have been anticipated at the start of the transaction which makes the transaction unduly complex or time consuming.

To view our average range of costs, please refer to the information and links below. Please note that these figures are for UK properties only.  Some fees are variable depending on the purchase price of the property (such as Stamp Duty Land Tax), or on location (such as fees due to Local and other Authorities i.e. Local and Environmental Searches). We have provided links where available, which will give further guides relating to these costs. Where other fees may occur, we will always notify you as soon as the fees are known.

Even though we have set out our indicative fees on the following pages, we would ask you to please contact us by telephone on 01344 851 200 so that we can provide you with a detailed costs estimate.
